CCD Images
I bought my first CCD camera in 1996 after spending a couple of weeks using a Starlight Xpress SXL8 camera kindly loaned to me by my good friend Eric Strach. I bought the smaller SX parallel port camera and spent the next few years taking images, mainly of deep sky objects..
I upgraded to the Artemis 285 kit camera which became available in 2005. This excellent camera combined with some major improvements to my telescope drive and guiding system has allowed me to greatly improve my technique and take much better quality deep sky images.
